Undersecretary of State in the Ministry of Climate and Environment, responsible for renewable energy and electricity sectors. He holds a Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering from the University of Agriculture in Krakow. Involved in social activities, he served as President of the Young People’s Forum from 2017 to 2023. Graduate of the School of Political Leadership. From 2019, Spokesman and Secretary of the General Council of the Polish People’s Party. Since 2024, Councillor of the Malopolska Voivodship Regional Council, where he holds the position of Vice-Chairman of the Committee for Environmental Protection and Public Safety.
Ignacy Niemczycki serves as Secretary of State at the Chancellery of the Prime Minister.
He holds a degree in sociology from the SWPS University of Social Sciences and Humanities and a degree in political science from the Graduate School for Social Research (a diploma from Lancaster University). He also earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Bocconi University in Milan. Additionally, he completed postgraduate studies in agriculture at the Warsaw University of Life Sciences (SGGW) and in organic farming at the University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn. He is an alumnus of the U.S. Department of State’s International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP) and the Landecker Democracy Fellowship.
During his studies, he founded the Free Belarus Initiative to support the fight for democracy in Belarus. He served on the board of the Akcja Demokracja Foundation and led the Prof. Bronisław Geremek Foundation. He also founded and coordinated the civic coalition Front Europejski (European Front).
He has worked in public administration, including positions at the Chancellery of the Prime Minister, the Office of the Committee for European Integration (UKIE), the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the Permanent Representation of Poland to the EU in Brussels. He also headed the European Affairs department at Polityka Insight. From 2015 to 2017, he worked as a public affairs manager and acting director for international communications at a corporation. He currently runs an organic farm in the Masurian region of Poland.
Specialist in managing changes in the area of ecology, politician. Graduate of the Lodz University of Technology in the field of marketing and management (with specialization in food chemistry). She graduated with distinction from the Executive MBA studies at the Leon Kozminski Academy in Warsaw. In the Sejm of the 9th term, member of the Public Finance Committee, the Environmental Protection, Natural Resources and Forestry Committee and the Agriculture and Rural Development Committee, as well as chairwoman of the Parliamentary Team for the Green Deal for Poland. Since December 2023, Undersecretary of State in the Ministry of Climate and Environment, including coordinating the implementation of the tasks of the Minister of Climate and Environment related to waste management and the implementation of the deposit system. Chairwoman of the 17th Conference of the Parties to the Basel Convention as a representative of the Central and Eastern European countries region.

Special guests
Wojciech Balczun is an experienced manager, strategist, and leader with more than 20 years of experience in managing large organizations across both the public and private sectors. He specializes in corporate restructuring and transformation, strategic management, investor negotiations, and building international economic cooperation.
Between 2008 and 2013, he served as CEO of PKP Cargo, the second-largest rail freight operator in Europe. He was responsible for the company’s comprehensive restructuring, the development of its growth strategy, and the implementation of processes that enabled its stock market debut. Between 2016 and 2017, as CEO of Ukrainian Railways, he led modernization projects aimed at improving the operational efficiency of one of Europe’s largest railway companies.
He was also associated with PKO Bank Polski and Inteligo Financial Services. He served on the supervisory boards of strategically important companies, including PLL LOT S.A. and PKP S.A., where he held the position of Chairman. He also served as Vice President of Employers of Poland and the European Centre of Employers and Enterprises Providing Public Services (CEEP). In the private sector, he also proved himself to be an effective entrepreneur and investor.
Before assuming the role of Minister, he served as CEO of the Industrial Development Agency (ARP S.A.). He focused on the strategic development of the ARP Capital Group, streamlining internal processes, building synergies among group companies, and delivering key investment projects, including the launch of wind tower production at Baltic Towers in Gdańsk and the expansion of Euroterminal Sławków. He also supervised the implementation of the landmark contract between H. Cegielski – Rail Vehicles Factory and PKP Intercity, as well as a program for the procurement of modern electric multiple units for local governments. These projects exemplified the use of synergies within the ARP Capital Group.
Wojciech Balczun graduated in Political Science from the University of Silesia in Katowice. He also completed an MBA program validated by Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University.
He has received numerous awards and distinctions, including the title of Manager of the Year in the “Person of the Year – Friend of Railways” competition and inclusion in Top 20 Bloomberg Businessweek Polska as one of the best crisis managers during times of crisis.
On July 24, 2025, he was appointed Minister of State Assets.
Paweł Bukowski, PhD is a Lecturer in Economics at the University College London and the Polish Academy of Sciences. Also affiliated with the London School of Economics. He is a Co-Director of the Centre for the Study of Places, Identities and Memories (PIMs) at UCL. His research focuses on socio-economic inequalities and labour economics. He has won multiple international research grants, founded an expert group – Dobrobyt na Pokolenia and is a member of Concilium Civitas – a group of influential Polish social scientists working abroad. His book, “Inequalities a’la Polonaise” won the Puls Biznesu Scientific Economics Book of the Year 2024 and the Marcin Król Prize 2025, given for a significant contribution to the humanities and social sciences.
Renat Heuberger is a serial entrepreneur in sustainability and climate action and CEO of Terra Impact Ventures. He co-founded and led the myclimate foundation and South Pole, and is chairman of eAgronom and MPower. Renat was named Social Entrepreneur by the World Economic Forum’s Schwab Foundation, is an elected member of the Innovation Council for the Swiss government, is a YPO Global Impact Award winner, and an EY Entrepreneur of the Year finalist. He serves on various boards. He holds a masters degree in environmental science from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology and has completed executive education programs at INSEAD and the Harvard Kennedy School.
Michał Kobosko is a Member of the European Parliament from Poland representing the Renew Europe group, where he actively works in several parliamentary committees. He is a member of the Committee on Industry, Research and Energy (ITRE) and the Committee on Petitions (PETI), where he serves as the coordinator for Renew Europe, as well as a substitute member of the Committee on Foreign Affairs (AFET). Additionally, he serves as Vice-Chair of the Delegation for Relations with Belarus (D-BY) and is a substitute member of the Delegation for Relations with the United States (D-US).
Before being elected as a Member of the European Parliament, Michal Kobosko was a deputy in the 10th term of the Polish Sejm, where he chaired the Committee on European Union Affairs (SUE). Now, as an MEP, he focuses on energy, industry, and foreign policy, supporting initiatives such as the Clean Industrial Deal and EU aid for Ukraine.
Andrzej Leder, philosopher, born in 1960, professor, corresponding member of the Polish Academy of Sciences. He has published a philosophical treatise: Freud’s Teaching in the Age of ‘Sein und Zeit’; a work on Polish history: The Dreamt Revolution, an Exercise in Historical Logic; essays on philosophical ideas in 20th-century Europe: Crack on the Surface: Theory in the Psychoanalytic Field; and Once Upon a Time, a book on the philosophical analysis of economic languages: Economics is a State of Mind: An Exercise in the Semantics of Economic Languages; as well as, in English: The Changing Guise of Myths; and in German: Polen in Wachtraum: The Revolution 1939-1956 and Your Folge. He teaches at the School of Social Sciences (GSSR) of the Institute of Philosophy and Sociology of the Polish Academy of Sciences (IFiS), and at the University of Paris (Sorbonne). He also practices psychotherapy. He lives in Warsaw.
Responsible for waste management and the activities of the Chief Inspectorate for Environmental Protection. A graduate of the Executive MBA program at Kozminski University in Warsaw and the Lodz University of Technology, she is a manager with extensive business experience, including project management in IT and logistics. A politician and member of the Polish Parliament (Sejm) of the 9th term. Her political career focuses on climate and environmental protection. She currently coordinates, among other initiatives, the implementation of the deposit-refund system and extended producer responsibility in Poland.
Since 2002 he has been associated with the United Nations. From 2002 to 2009, at the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), he was responsible, among other things, for international and multilateral cooperation and program development in Europe and Asia. He worked in many countries implementing development programs and projects based on knowledge transfer from Poland. These included in particular such countries as Iraq, India, Thailand and Romania. He also worked at UNDP headquarters in New York and UNDP headquarters for Europe and CIS countries in Bratislava. From 2009 to 2014, Director of the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) Office in Poland. From 2004 to 2021 Country Representative and Chairman of the UN Global Compact Network Poland Council – UN GCNP (UN network coordinating on behalf of the United Nations Global Compact cooperation with business, cities, universities, public administration and NGOs; more: ungc.org.pl). Since 2021 Country Representative and Executive Director of UN GCNP. Since 2021 Vice Chairman of the Council of the United Nations Association Poland. Since 2022 Co-Chair of the Sustainable Finance Platform at the Ministry of Finance. Since 2023 Representative of the United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS) in Poland.

Rafał Mrówka, Ph.D. is an associate professor at the Department of Management Theory at SGH Warsaw School of Economics. He specializes in the analysis of modern models of organization, digital transformation, leadership issues, corporate social responsibility, employee satisfaction and engagement surveys. He is also the Director of MBA-SGH and MBA for Startup Programmes at SGH. He has lectured or participated in research programs at Tel Aviv University (Israel) and Universite Catholique de Lille (France), MDI Gurgaon (India), University of Mauritius, University of Muhammadiyah Malang (Indonesia). Rafał Mrówka is also active in business consulting and managerial trainings – he has more than 25 years of experience in managing projects for business, is co-owner of consulting and training company IMMOQEE. He is a member of the Advisory Board of the School for Leaders Foundation, which shapes leadership attitudes in society in Poland.
Member of the Lyreco Management Team. World champion in whitewater kayaking – he uses his developed discipline and determination in his professional life, implementing projects of strategic importance.
Expert in the field of digitalization and optimization of business processes, with over 15 years of experience in projects supporting the development of organizations. He led key initiatives, such as digital transformation or integration of two companies. Winner of the Lyreco Pioneers program. He is currently developing a tool based on artificial intelligence, which supports the sales team and increases operational efficiency.
He is responsible for the implementation of the ESG strategy and active promotion of good sustainable development practices – including as a speaker at industry conferences and a mentor in Lyreco’s internal development programs.
From 2025, he is responsible for the development of the e-commerce channel and the construction of an omnichannel customer service model, integrating marketing, communication and digital activities. He manages the Customer Experience, eBusiness, IT, PMO and Sustainable Development teams.

Arkadiusz Lewandowski is an attorney-at-law, graduate of the Faculty of Law at the University of Warsaw, a participant in the MBA program at the Warsaw University of Technology Business School, a manager of litigation teams at leading financial institutions, and an active litigator. At KPK Legal, he manages the litigation team representing financial institutions in disputes initiated by compensation firms and individual clients, who frequently challenge the validity of service provider contracts. He actively supports businesses in developing litigation strategies, taking into account the growing dynamics of changes in the national and European legal environment. He possesses expert knowledge in protecting the interests of companies, constructing standard contracts, internal procedures (including AML), and regulations addressing consumer risks, as well as guidelines from, among others, the Office of Competition and Consumer Protection (UOKiK), the Polish Financial Supervision Authority (KNF), the Federal Republic of Poland (RF), and the Polish Personal Data Protection Office (PUODO).
An economist, he graduated from the University of Opole and the Wrocław University of Economics, as well as from prestigious international development programs. He is an expert in sales process management, customer experience, change management and ESG, as well as a business coach. Associated with Heidelberg Materials Poland (formerly Górażdże Group) for more than 15 years. He started his professional career in sales structures, and between 2003 and 2008 performed the position of a sales consultant on behalf of the Heidelberg Materials in Ukraine, responsible for building the sales team and sales processes. He held a similar role in 2011-2012 in Kazakhstan. Since 2020, he has been a member of the board of directors of Górażdże Cement SA, holding the position of Sales Development, Low Carbon Products and ESG. He is actively involved in industry associations including the Association of Cement Producers and the Polish Green Building Council. An economist, he is a graduate of Opole University and Wroclaw University of Economics, as well as prestigious international development programs. He is an expert in sales process management, customer experience, change management and ESG, as well as a business coach.
In Lidl Poland since 2013. As Corporate Affairs Director she is responsible for coordinating activities in the area of external communication, corporate social responsibility, internal communication and public affairs. Previously, she dealt with PR, SoMe and training for healthcare sector units.

Regulatory Affairs Manager at Allegro. Ewelina is responsible for monitoring legislation related to the technology and e-commerce sectors in Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, and Hungary. She represents Allegro in working groups of business organizations. She is a non-practising attorney.
Graduate of Law at the University of Warsaw and postgraduate studies at the Warsaw University of Technology (District Heating, Heating and Ventilation, and Renewable Energy for Business) at the British Law Centre. He combines strong legal and organizational competencies with technical expertise in the energy sector.
He began his professional career in 2000, gaining experience at the Gessel law firm. Since 2005, he has been involved in the energy sector, heading the legal department of Praterm (currently Veolia Term). In the following years, he held managerial and executive positions within the Dalkia Group and Veolia, including Managing Director of Dalkia Termo Iași in Romania and Director of Efficiency at Veolia Energia Warszawa.
Between 2015 and 2017, as an attorney at the law firm Robert Jędrzejczyk i Wspólnicy, he advised the Dalkia Polska Group. In 2017, he joined the company as Director of Legal Affairs and PPP Projects. Since 2019, he has been responsible for sales and marketing at Dalkia Polska Solutions, and since April 2021 he has served as President of the Management Board of the company.

She is an expert in waste management, including hazardous and municipal waste management. She also advises on environmental aspects of mergers and acquisitions (M&A) transactions.
She works with leaders in the energy sector on strategic restructuring processes, with a particular focus on Waste-to-Energy projects, ESG, and the energy transition. Anita also specializes in renewable energy projects, including wind farms, photovoltaic installations, and biogas plants.
She represents clients in proceedings before public administration authorities and courts, as well as during legislative processes. She advises on obtaining environmental decisions, integrated permits, water law permits, and emission permits.
Anita gained her professional experience at the Ministry of Climate and Environment, where she was responsible for the legislative process related to amendments to the Geological and Mining Law concerning hydrocarbons.

PhD BEng. in Agricultural Sciences in the field of Food Technology and Nutrition (Warsaw University of Life Sciences – SGGW), and MBA graduate specializing in Agribusiness Management.
She has been working at Animex Foods for 17 years and currently serves as a Purchasing Safety Expert. For many years, she has also been associated with SGGW, delivering lectures in Poland and abroad and participating in educational projects, such as “Sustainable SGGW Campus – Education for Key Industries”, co-financed by the European Social Fund Plus under the European Funds for Social Development Programme 2021–2027.
She is the author of scientific publications focused on quality management and food safety.
For years, she has been actively involved in the packaging industry in the context of evolving regulations and packaging requirements. She is actively engaged in identifying innovative and safe packaging solutions for the food industry.
Since the beginning of his professional career, he has actively supported entrepreneurs in the field of broadly defined environmental protection, including internationally. He promotes modern technological solutions in waste management, including the deposit-refund system. He graduated from the Inter-Faculty Studies in Environmental Protection at the University of Warsaw, and completed postgraduate studies in environmental auditing at the University of Gdańsk and business psychology at the Leon Kozminski University. He began his career in 2008 at Rekopol Organizacja Odzysku Opakowań S.A., where he was responsible for purchasing and projects. He then served as Director of the Polish Office of the Regional Environmental Center and President of the Management Board of the REC Polska Foundation. In 2015, he started working with RLG – Reverse Logistic Group – as development director and proxy, and in 2019 he became managing director and vice-president of the management board in the Group companies in Poland (RLG Polska. Sp. z o.o.; RLG RELECTRA OOSEiE S.A. and RLG REPACK Polska OOO S.A.).
Environmental protection specialist with extensive experience in waste management. He has been working in the industry since 2003. Since 2013, he has served as Regional Director and later as Vice President at Interzero. He is currently the President of the Management Board of INTERZERO ORGANIZACJA ODZYSKU OPAKOWAŃ I SPRZĘTU ELEKTRYCZNEGO S.A. He actively participates in working groups of the Ministry of Climate and Environment, as well as other organizations related to waste management. He is also the President of the Green Foundation for Ecological Solutions and a member of the Council of the Polish Chamber of Packaging Recovery and Recycling.
Lawyer, graduate of postgraduate studies in Corporate Social Responsibility at the Leon Koźmiński Academy. Associated with Rekopol Packaging Recovery Organization SA since 2004. Currently, Procurator, Sales and External Relations Director. Author of numerous projects and campaigns promoting waste segregation and conscious shopping, e.g. the nationwide campaign “Day without Garbage”. Previously, he was the Commercial Director at Fastrack (2000-2005) – representatives of the British Company – Kenwood and the American company – Remington. In the years 1991-1999, he was the General Director at Brabork – representative office of Philips and Whirlpool. He was also an Economic Consultant for the Italian company Merloni Polska and for the Greek company Klimatechniki. A graduate of Management Dept. at the University of Warsaw and a former student at the University of Michigan in the United States.
Responsible for waste management and the activities of the Chief Inspectorate for Environmental Protection. A graduate of the Executive MBA program at Kozminski University in Warsaw and the Lodz University of Technology, she is a manager with extensive business experience, including project management in IT and logistics. A politician and member of the Polish Parliament (Sejm) of the 9th term. Her political career focuses on climate and environmental protection. Klas Johansson is the CEO and co-founder of Fever Energy, a Swedish energy technology company building the flexibility platform that turns distributed energy assets into coordinated distributed power plants. Before founding Fever in 2022, he spent nearly eight years at iZettle (now Zettle by PayPal), where he built and led the risk operations function through the company’s growth from a small startup to global scale. He then joined Volvo Car Mobility, working at the intersection of automotive, technology, and new mobility services. Fever has raised EUR 11M from investors including Norrsken VC, La Famiglia, and General Catalyst. The company is headquartered in Stockholm and operates across European electricity markets.
He has been with the PGE Group since 2017. He implemented integration and restructuring programs within the Capital Group. He also gained international experience in the International Management Board of EDF in Paris.
Since 2022, he has served as Director of the Strategy, Processes, and Projects Department at PGE Polska Grupa Energetyczna. He was responsible for developing the PGE Strategy published in June 2025 and oversees its operationalization through the strategic initiatives program and management of the Central Project Office. Additionally, he is the President of the special purpose vehicle PGE Inwest 12, which is leading the “Młoty” project – the preparation and implementation of the construction of a pumped-storage power plant with a capacity of approximately 1,000 MW, including studies, environmental studies, procurement, and stakeholder dialogue. Jacek Kostrzewa is a manager with documented experience in developing businesses in the energy and biotechnology sectors, with over 30 years of experience gained in more than 50 countries in project financing, renewable energy, and energy efficiency policy and analysis. He holds a Master of Environmental Engineering degree from the Warsaw University of Technology and an MBA from the School of Business at the University of Washington in Seattle and the Academy of Economic Studies in Bucharest.
He has been an advisor to the International Finance Corporation, the World Bank, the European Investment Bank, and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development in designing, creating, and managing financing and technical assistance programs in the energy sector. He has advised many private sector companies on investments in wind energy, biomass, and solar power, including Siemens, Mid Europa Partners, Royalton Partners, Enfinity, RP Global, Novenergia Fund, Madhvani International, and Toshiba (solar energy). He is the director and founder of GreenMax Capital Advisors and previously served as the CEO of SKOTAN, a publicly listed biotechnology company, biodiesel manufacturer, and trader. He has managed projects for companies such as Orlen, Shell, Carrefour, National Power (fuels and energy), and Cargill, Neuca, Pharmapex, and DOZ (biotechnology). In recent years, he has been the President of the Management Board at 21ADD Sp. z o.o., specializing in energy-efficient construction.
In the 1990s, he was a financial expert for the European Commission’s PHARE assistance program (11 countries). He is the founder of the Energy Conservation Foundation and its subsidiary, the National Energy Conservation Agency.
Małgorzata Szafoni graduated from the Faculty of Management at the Poznań University of Economics, majoring in International Relations with a specialization in European Studies. She also completed doctoral studies at the College of World Economy at the Warsaw School of Economics, obtaining a Ph.D. in economics and finance. She also holds postgraduate degrees in Taxation and Foreign Service, and has completed courses and training in areas such as public finance management, human resources management, and project management. She is an ICC certified coach and team coach.
For over 20 years, she has been a manager who manages processes, projects, and organizational change, and an expert in strategic management. She utilizes her knowledge and experience in organization and management, public affairs and regulations, budget and financial management, team building and motivation, and public relations. From the beginning of her professional and academic career, she has also been involved in public finance management and European Union affairs. She has extensive experience working in both the public and private sectors and collaborating with non-governmental organizations, academic centers, and international organizations (EU, OECD, World Bank, International Monetary Fund, IOTA) – as a member of national structures and international projects and programs, an advisor to management staff within the organization, a representative in parliamentary and legislative work, a representative and speaker/trainer at national and international forums, an analyst, academic lecturer, and author and co-author of publications.
From 2002 to 2016, she worked in public administration in units of the Ministry of Finance (Poznań-Winogrady Tax Office, Poznań Tax Chamber – Tax Information Exchange Office, Ministry of Finance) and the Ministry of European and Foreign Affairs (Office of the Committee for European Integration, Ministry of Foreign Affairs), including from 2006 to 2016 as a designated civil servant. Key projects in public administration include, among others, the establishment of a Central Liaison Office (CLO) for cooperation and information exchange with foreign tax administrations following Poland’s accession to the European Union in 2004; the organization of the first Polish Presidency of the Council of the European Union in 2011; and projects aimed at transforming and developing the Polish tax administration to increase its effectiveness, efficiency, and customer focus. Patryk Świrski is a Polish manager with over 20 years of experience managing companies in the energy, industrial, and public transport sectors, as well as local government companies. A graduate of the University of Silesia in Katowice, he specializes in operational management, organizational transformation, and the implementation of infrastructure and investment projects of strategic importance for business development.
In his professional career, he focuses on building modern management models, increasing operational efficiency, and implementing innovative technological solutions that support organizational development. She manages a team of consultants specializing in various real estate sectors and aspects related to sustainable development. Throughout her career, Katarzyna has coordinated numerous projects, including feasibility studies, property use analyses, and strategic consulting for public sector entities and tenants (location strategies, portfolio optimization, and sales strategies).
She graduated from the Warsaw School of Economics (MSc in Finance and Banking) and completed postgraduate studies in real estate valuation at the Warsaw University of Technology, and in ESG and sustainable development at the Kozminski University and the University of Cambridge.
Procurator, Director of the Implementation Department, ESG Leader. He has 21 years of experience in the development of high-end warehouse and production facilities. Since 2013, he has been associated with the Polish company BREMER, where, as Director of the Implementation Department, he is responsible for the quality and timeliness of construction projects and for building lasting relationships with clients.

Malwina Dobosz is a manager with extensive experience in the construction, energy, and sales sectors. She currently serves as Business Unit Director at Hymon Powered by Kajima. She built her career in an international environment, including at Hilti Polska, where she was responsible for sales, project management, and team development for over a decade. She also gained experience in BIM design and engineering, allowing her to effectively combine technical and business perspectives.
She graduated from the Warsaw University of Life Sciences with a degree in environmental engineering and holds an MBA from the Leon Kozminski Academy. She also completed studies in BIM at the Lodz University of Technology.
Jarosław Jankowski has over 25 years of experience in the TSL industry, both as a recipient and service provider. He has worked with corporate clients and implemented logistics projects in the domestic and international distribution of standard and oversized cargo. He began his career as a freight forwarder at a large logistics company, and after gaining several years of experience, he held the positions of project manager and forwarding director. Professor Krzysztof Pikoń is a professor at the Silesian University of Technology and Vice-Dean of the Faculty of Environmental and Energy Engineering. He specializes in the circular economy, full life-cycle environmental analysis (LCA), sustainable energy systems, waste management, and energy transition.
He conducts research and provides expert advice in the areas of environmental technology assessment, resource efficiency, renewable energy sources, and decarbonization strategies. He collaborates with industry partners, public administration, and European institutions on projects related to the European Green Deal, the circular economy, and energy transition. He has participated in projects implemented under programs such as the European Commission, CINEA, and EIT InnoEnergy. He is the author and co-author of nearly 250 scientific publications, including over 150 articles published in renowned international journals. Zsolt Tadeusz Fekete, MBA, founder and CEO of the tech company Algotech Polska, brings over 20 years of expertise in the contact center industry and IT solutions. He is a highly respected expert, mentor, and consultant for leading companies in Poland and internationally.

Michał Kobosko is a Member of the European Parliament from Poland representing the Renew Europe group, where he actively works in several parliamentary committees. He is a member of the Committee on Industry, Research and Energy (ITRE) and the Committee on Petitions (PETI), where he serves as the coordinator for Renew Europe, as well as a substitute member of the Committee on Foreign Affairs (AFET). Additionally, he serves as Vice-Chair of the Delegation for Relations with Belarus (D-BY) and is a substitute member of the Delegation for Relations with the United States (D-US).
Before being elected as a Member of the European Parliament, Michal Kobosko was a deputy in the 10th term of the Polish Sejm, where he chaired the Committee on European Union Affairs (SUE). Iwona Pik is a Polish manager and investor with extensive experience in the financial and operational sectors, present in the market since the early 1990s. She specializes in restructuring and consolidation of companies in the manufacturing and processing industries. Since 2025, she has served as CEO of the Krosno Glassworks, where she is responsible for the company’s digital transformation, the development of e-commerce channels, and increasing the brand’s presence in international markets. Her investment portfolio includes more than a dozen companies with diversified business profiles, generating a combined turnover of one billion złoty.
In her management strategy, she focuses on process optimization, cost efficiency, and the adaptation of traditional industrial plants to contemporary market requirements.

Wojciech Balczun is an experienced manager, strategist, and leader with more than 20 years of experience in managing large organizations across both the public and private sectors. He specializes in corporate restructuring and transformation, strategic management, investor negotiations, and building international economic cooperation.
Between 2008 and 2013, he served as CEO of PKP Cargo, the second-largest rail freight operator in Europe. He was responsible for the company’s comprehensive restructuring, the development of its growth strategy, and the implementation of processes that enabled its stock market debut. Between 2016 and 2017, as CEO of Ukrainian Railways, he led modernization projects aimed at improving the operational efficiency of one of Europe’s largest railway companies.
He was also associated with PKO Bank Polski and Inteligo Financial Services. He served on the supervisory boards of strategically important companies, including PLL LOT S.A. and PKP S.A., where he held the position of Chairman. He also served as Vice President of Employers of Poland and the European Centre of Employers and Enterprises Providing Public Services (CEEP). In the private sector, he also proved himself to be an effective entrepreneur and investor.
Before assuming the role of Minister, he served as CEO of the Industrial Development Agency (ARP S.A.). He focused on the strategic development of the ARP Capital Group, streamlining internal processes, building synergies among group companies, and delivering key investment projects, including the launch of wind tower production at Baltic Towers in Gdańsk and the expansion of Euroterminal Sławków. He also supervised the implementation of the landmark contract between H. Cegielski – Rail Vehicles Factory and PKP Intercity, as well as a program for the procurement of modern electric multiple units for local governments. These projects exemplified the use of synergies within the ARP Capital Group.
Wojciech Balczun graduated in Political Science from the University of Silesia in Katowice. He also completed an MBA program validated by Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University.
He has received numerous awards and distinctions, including the title of Manager of the Year in the “Person of the Year – Friend of Railways” competition and inclusion in Top 20 Bloomberg Businessweek Polska as one of the best crisis managers during times of crisis.
On July 24, 2025, he was appointed Minister of State Assets.
Paweł Bukowski, PhD is a Lecturer in Economics at the University College London and the Polish Academy of Sciences. Also affiliated with the London School of Economics. He is a Co-Director of the Centre for the Study of Places, Identities and Memories (PIMs) at UCL. His research focuses on socio-economic inequalities and labour economics. He has won multiple international research grants, founded an expert group – Dobrobyt na Pokolenia and is a member of Concilium Civitas – a group of influential Polish social scientists working abroad. His book, “Inequalities a’la Polonaise” won the Puls Biznesu Scientific Economics Book of the Year 2024 and the Marcin Król Prize 2025, given for a significant contribution to the humanities and social sciences.
Renat Heuberger is a serial entrepreneur in sustainability and climate action and CEO of Terra Impact Ventures. He co-founded and led the myclimate foundation and South Pole, and is chairman of eAgronom and MPower. Renat was named Social Entrepreneur by the World Economic Forum’s Schwab Foundation, is an elected member of the Innovation Council for the Swiss government, is a YPO Global Impact Award winner, and an EY Entrepreneur of the Year finalist. He serves on various boards. He holds a masters degree in environmental science from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology and has completed executive education programs at INSEAD and the Harvard Kennedy School.
Klas Johansson is the CEO and co-founder of Fever Energy, a Swedish energy technology company building the flexibility platform that turns distributed energy assets into coordinated distributed power plants. Before founding Fever in 2022, he spent nearly eight years at iZettle (now Zettle by PayPal), where he built and led the risk operations function through the company’s growth from a small startup to global scale. He then joined Volvo Car Mobility, working at the intersection of automotive, technology, and new mobility services. Fever has raised EUR 11M from investors including Norrsken VC, La Famiglia, and General Catalyst. The company is headquartered in Stockholm and operates across European electricity markets.
Andrzej Leder, philosopher, born in 1960, professor, corresponding member of the Polish Academy of Sciences. He has published a philosophical treatise: Freud’s Teaching in the Age of ‘Sein und Zeit’; a work on Polish history: The Dreamt Revolution, an Exercise in Historical Logic; essays on philosophical ideas in 20th-century Europe: Crack on the Surface: Theory in the Psychoanalytic Field; and Once Upon a Time, a book on the philosophical analysis of economic languages: Economics is a State of Mind: An Exercise in the Semantics of Economic Languages; as well as, in English: The Changing Guise of Myths; and in German: Polen in Wachtraum: The Revolution 1939-1956 and Your Folge. He teaches at the School of Social Sciences (GSSR) of the Institute of Philosophy and Sociology of the Polish Academy of Sciences (IFiS), and at the University of Paris (Sorbonne). Paulina Paga is the Management Board Representative for Sustainable Development and Head of the ESG Team at Polskie Porty Lotnicze S.A., responsible for designing and implementing a systemic approach to ESG, strategic in nature and directly linked to the company’s key transformation processes. She holds an MBA from the French Institute of Management and has over 13 years of international experience in sustainable development, gained in the private, non-governmental, and public sectors. She has collaborated with initiatives such as the Actors of Urban Change network led by the Robert Bosch Foundation and European Commission initiatives (European New Bauhaus), leading projects based on systems-based work, cross-sector dialogue, and designing transformation architecture.
At PPL S.A., she is responsible for implementing the ESG Strategy, leading the Sustainable Development Council, overseeing the work of the regional ESG Working Committees, and integrating activities within a silo structure. During nearly two years of collaboration with PPL S.A., she led the organization from declarative to operational ESG management, supported by a non-financial reporting process involving nearly 100 people across the organization. She oversees the development of the Decarbonization Strategy, taking into account PPL S.A.’s commitment to building the SAF market in Poland. Her team is responsible for preparing PPL S.A. and its subsidiaries for ESG reporting, as well as strengthening the company’s operational resilience through the implementation of Sustainable Development standards.
Manager and strategist with over 20 years of experience in the aviation sector, critical infrastructure, and corporate communications. Since 2024, he has been a Member of the Management Board of Polish Airports S.A., where he is responsible for strategy and marketing. He co-created and is currently responsible for implementing PPL S.A.’s first-ever integrated strategy for 2025–2035.
He actively represents the Polish aviation sector internationally as a member of the ACI EUROPE Policy Committee and the American Association of Airports Executives. In Poland, he is the only representative of the airport industry on the Main Council of the Lewiatan Confederation.
He specializes in strategic management, transformation and restructuring projects, and risk and crisis management. As a member of the Supervisory Boards, he has advised the Central Communication Port, the Gdańsk Airport, and Casinos Poland. He initiated and co-authored key PPL industry reports on the future of airport technology, the impact of airports on regional economic development, and ESG initiatives at Polish airports. He serves on the supervisory boards of PHZ Baltona S.A. and PL Poznań.
He holds a degree in political science from the University of Silesia, an Executive MBA from the University of Warsaw, and a DBA. He is a former journalist and press spokesman.
