Dr Paweł Bukowski is an Assistant Professor of Economics at the University College London and the Polish Academy of Sciences. Also affiliated with the London School of Economics. His research focuses on socio-economic inequalities and labour economics. He has won multiple international research grants, founded an expert group – Dobrobyt na Pokolenia and is a member of Concilium Civitas – a group of influential Polish social scientists working abroad. His book “Inequalities in Polish” won the Puls Biznesu Scientific Economics Book of the Year 2004 and is in the final of the Marcin Król Award.
Gavin Edwards is a conservation and environment advocate with three decades of experience in pursuing and helping secure break-through solutions to the twin biodiversity and climate crises. He has contributed to important conservation successes including conserving the Great Bear Rainforest working alongside indigenous peoples, an Amazon soy moratorium, a Hong Kong ivory sales ban and the Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework. He is the Executive Director of the Nature Positive Initiative Secretariat – a collaboration of 27 leading organizations who will drive alignment around the definition, integrity and use of the term ‘nature positive’. Mr Edwards holds an Executive MBA from Kellogg-HKUST.
Marga Hoek is a three-time CEO, who gained international recognition as a CEO for her visionary, innovative approach which synergizes sustainability, technology and strong business and financial results. She is the founder of Business for Good, which aims to accelerate sustainable, innovative businesses around the world.
Marga has authored three trailblazing books that all received golden awards, like ‘The Trillion Dollar Shift’ and recently ‘Tech for Good’ which in addition was selected as one of the Thinkers50 best management books of 2024. Marga’s vision and thought leadership is featured in Forbes, Fortune, Financial Times, G7 and G20 Magazines, Huffington Post and many publications. Undersecretary of State in the Ministry of Climate and Environment, responsible for renewable energy and electricity sectors. He holds a Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering from the University of Agriculture in Krakow. Involved in social activities, he served as President of the Young People’s Forum from 2017 to 2023. Graduate of the School of Political Leadership. From 2019, Spokesman and Secretary of the General Council of the Polish People’s Party. Since 2024, Councillor of the Malopolska Voivodship Regional Council, where he holds the position of Vice-Chairman of the Committee for Environmental Protection and Public Safety.
Ignacy Niemczycki serves as Secretary of State at the Chancellery of the Prime Minister.
He holds a degree in sociology from the SWPS University of Social Sciences and Humanities and a degree in political science from the Graduate School for Social Research (a diploma from Lancaster University). He also earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Bocconi University in Milan. Additionally, he completed postgraduate studies in agriculture at the Warsaw University of Life Sciences (SGGW) and in organic farming at the University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn. He is an alumnus of the U.S. Department of State’s International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP) and the Landecker Democracy Fellowship.
During his studies, he founded the Free Belarus Initiative to support the fight for democracy in Belarus. He served on the board of the Akcja Demokracja Foundation and led the Prof. Bronisław Geremek Foundation. He also founded and coordinated the civic coalition Front Europejski (European Front).
He has worked in public administration, including positions at the Chancellery of the Prime Minister, the Office of the Committee for European Integration (UKIE), the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the Permanent Representation of Poland to the EU in Brussels. He also headed the European Affairs department at Polityka Insight. From 2015 to 2017, he worked as a public affairs manager and acting director for international communications at a corporation. He currently runs an organic farm in the Masurian region of Poland.
Paweł is a Senior Vice President in the Debt & Capital Advisory team of ING in London responsible for advising corporate clients on raising debt capital in the wider energy transition space including renewables and energy storage. In his previous roles he acted as M&A advisor to clients across the wider infrastructure space including energy and TMT transactions. He combines over 13 years of capital markets experience having advised clients across several geographies in EMEA (including in CEE) and industries in sell-side, buy-side capacity and on debt financing advisory mandates. Paweł is a graduate of the Warsaw University with a MA in Finance and Banking and is a CFA charterholder.
Specialist in managing changes in the area of ecology, politician. Graduate of the Lodz University of Technology in the field of marketing and management (with specialization in food chemistry). She graduated with distinction from the Executive MBA studies at the Leon Kozminski Academy in Warsaw. In the Sejm of the 9th term, member of the Public Finance Committee, the Environmental Protection, Natural Resources and Forestry Committee and the Agriculture and Rural Development Committee, as well as chairwoman of the Parliamentary Team for the Green Deal for Poland. Since December 2023, Undersecretary of State in the Ministry of Climate and Environment, including coordinating the implementation of the tasks of the Minister of Climate and Environment related to waste management and the implementation of the deposit system. Chairwoman of the 17th Conference of the Parties to the Basel Convention as a representative of the Central and Eastern European countries region.
Since 2002 he has been associated with the United Nations. From 2002 to 2009, at the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), he was responsible, among other things, for international and multilateral cooperation and program development in Europe and Asia. He worked in many countries implementing development programs and projects based on knowledge transfer from Poland. These included in particular such countries as Iraq, India, Thailand and Romania. He also worked at UNDP headquarters in New York and UNDP headquarters for Europe and CIS countries in Bratislava. From 2009 to 2014, Director of the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) Office in Poland. From 2004 to 2021 Country Representative and Chairman of the UN Global Compact Network Poland Council – UN GCNP (UN network coordinating on behalf of the United Nations Global Compact cooperation with business, cities, universities, public administration and NGOs; more: ungc.org.pl). Since 2021 Country Representative and Executive Director of UN GCNP. Since 2021 Vice Chairman of the Council of the United Nations Association Poland. Since 2022 Co-Chair of the Sustainable Finance Platform at the Ministry of Finance. Since 2023 Representative of the United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS) in Poland. Academic lecturer, expert on UN and EU policies, especially in the area of actions at the nexus of business, administration and science and the inclusion of the private sector in the implementation of UN goals, policies and standards.

Panel 1: Sustainable and stronge Europe
Associated with Forvis Mazars since 2019, previously affiliated with companies from the so-called “Big Four,” where she was responsible for audit and assurance services as well as advisory services for financial institutions. Her client portfolio includes the largest banks operating in Poland.
She is a certified auditor and a member of ACCA, with over a decade of experience in auditing financial statements of institutions in the financial sector. She also has an extensive portfolio in leading advisory and implementation projects, including in the areas of finance, internal controls, and risk management, as well as projects related to due diligence and securities issuance.
At Forvis Mazars, she serves as the leader of services for the financial sector, both in audit and advisory, at the national and Central and Eastern European levels, as well as a partner overseeing projects in the area of sustainable development (ESG).
She is a graduate of Economics and Finance and Banking from the University of Gdańsk.

Dr. Eng. Marek Jedziniak is the author of approximately 25 national and international publications and conference papers, a co-author of several patent applications, and the author of two Polish standards. In 2000, he earned his Master’s degree from the Faculty of Chemistry at the Silesian University of Technology in Gliwice, specializing in Chemical and Process Engineering with a focus on environmental protection in the chemical industry. In 2014, he defended his doctoral dissertation at the same faculty and received the degree of Doctor of Technical Sciences in the discipline of Chemical Engineering.
He began his career as a design engineer at the Electrostatic Precipitator Factory ELWO S.A. in Pszczyna, and later worked at the KOMAG Mining Technology Institute in Gliwice, where he was involved in the design, testing, and development of wet dust collection equipment, particularly for applications in the mining industry.
Currently, as the Research and Development Manager at Biogas-System S.A., he focuses on the company’s growth and technological development in the fields of biogas, biomethane, biohydrogen, and renewable energy sources. He is also engaged in issues related to sustainable development and the implementation of circular economy principles, while actively supporting the execution of biogas and biomethane investment projects.

Graduate of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering of the Gdańsk University of Technology (1977) and the Faculty of Production Economics of the University of Gdańsk (1982), General Director of Mining III–degree (gas engineering -2013). Specialist in complex energy (electric power engineering/heating/gas engineering), closely cooperates with local governments and economic circles: Association of Polish Electricians, Polish Chamber of Heating, Gas Industry Chamber, Polish Society for Transmission and Distribution of Electricity, National Chamber of Commerce. He is the author or co-author of 5 monographs, including two textbooks, over 250 articles, papers and scientific communications, has over 25 implementations in industry. Associated with the Gdańsk University of Technology for over 45 years, but at the same time worked in industry in managerial positions, building energy facilities in Poland and abroad. He held a number of top management positions in industry, especially in energy (in management boards and supervisory boards of large energy companies).

Graduate of the Faculty of Power and Aeronautical Engineering at the Warsaw University of Technology Professional experience: Since 1991, he has been working in managerial positions in the area of sales and management in large international organizations in the B2B and B2C segment (Henkel, General Electric, Miele, Lafarge, Ursa). He has been working for Nordkalk for 10 years, including 9 years as the President of the Management Board of Nordkalk Sp. o.o. Since 2016, he has been the Commercial Director in the Central Europe Region (Poland, Germany, Ukraine, the Czech Republic and Slovakia). Professional achievements: Changing the organizational and sales model at Nordkalk. He is responsible for the granulated lime project (trade name Nordkalk AtriGran), which has been successfully run since 2009. For several years he has been focusing on the development of sales and investments in Ukraine, mainly in the area of agricultural products.
Jacek Niewęgłowski – CEO North East Europe at Smurfit Westrock, a global leader in sustainable cardboard packaging solutions. He has over 20 years of experience in managing complex business structures in the paper industry. Previously, he held the position of Commercial Director and managed plants in Warsaw and Pruszków in the structures of Smurfit Kappa. Since 2022, he has been responsible for the development of the North-Eastern European markets and shaping the growth strategy through investment projects and acquisitions.
An effective transformation leader, combining a global vision with local market knowledge. He skillfully builds committed teams, supports a culture of cooperation and relationships based on trust. He consistently focuses on innovation, sustainable development and a partnership approach to customers and employees.
Graduated in chemistry from Maria Curie-Skłodowska University in Lublin, completed postgraduate studies in marketing (SGH) and financial controlling (Leon Koźmiński Academy). He also holds the INSEAD Leadership Program certificate.

Panel 2: Circular economy
Krzysztof Pikoń Prof. PhD, DSc. is a full professor at the Silesian University of Technology (SUT). Scientifically deals with the issues of environmental impact, circular economy, LCA, LCC analysis, waste management as well as the modern pedagogical approach and active learning methods. He participated in many scientific projects focused on LCA Analysis and optimization of environmental impact. He is head of Department for Technologoies and Installations for Waste Management. He was the manager of 15 projects, including 3 European projects (Innoenergy, Norway-Island Fund, EU-Turkish Fund), 2 National Centre Research and Development (NCBiR) projects, 3 NAWA project (PROM – academic international exchange and KATAMARAN – pedagogical development of new MSc program in the field of Energy Transition) and 2 Ministry of Science and Higher Education projects. The total budget of project managed by him is about EUR 10 million. He was the contractor of about 40 research and scientific projects (including international ones: Tempus, Eureka, Horizon 2020, Horizon Europe). He is the author of two scientific monographs: The Circular Economy in a holistic approach (Silesian University of Technology Publishing House, 2018) and the Model of multi-criteria environmental analysis of complex technological systems (Silesian University of Technology Publishing House 2011). He is a co-author of the prestigious book published by John Wiley & Sons Publishing House in 2015 Handbook of clean energy systems. He is author of several pedagogical publication related to Challenge driven education, Project Based Learning and Case teaching. He was Program Director of Energy Transition MSc in EIT Innoenergy (Consortium of 13 EU Universities). He obtained the international management certificate PRINCE2 at the foundation and practitioner level and Agile PM. He also participated in a number of trainings focused on eduaction, pedagogy, new teaching methods including English Medium Instruction at UPC in Barcelona, Case Teaching at Harvard University and ESADE Business School as well as a number of training courses such as Problem Solving, Design Thinking and other soft skills. He was awarded with Medal of the National Education Commission (2019) and many Rectors Awards for scientific, organizational and pedagogical achievements. Armand Ferreira joined ING in 1996 as a management trainee. After several commercial and strategic functions, Armand became a senior relationship manager at ING Corporate Clients in 2010. In 2015 Armand joined the Sustainable Finance team as one of the inaugural members. Since then, he has had many strategic sustainable discusssions with clients in several sectors throughout EMEA. In that role, Armand has structured and contributed to many sustainable transactions in the past years. Since January 2025, Armand has been appointed as Global Lead Sustainable Solutions Group for Corporate Clients at ING.
Environmental protection specialist with extensive experience in waste management. He has been working in the industry since 2003. Since 2013, he has served as Regional Director and later as Vice President at Interzero. He is currently the President of the Management Board of INTERZERO ORGANIZACJA ODZYSKU OPAKOWAŃ I SPRZĘTU ELEKTRYCZNEGO S.A. He actively participates in working groups of the Ministry of Climate and Environment, as well as other organizations related to waste management. He is also the President of the Green Foundation for Ecological Solutions and a member of the Council of the Polish Chamber of Packaging Recovery and Recycling.
Michał Mikołajczyk – lawyer, volunteer and employee of the Polish and International Red Cross, postgraduate studies in CSR at the Kozminski University. Since 2004, he has been associated with Rekopol Organizacja Odzysku Opakowań S.A. Author of many projects and campaigns promoting waste segregation and conscious shopping, e.g. the nationwide campaign “Day without Garbage”. Organizer of projects in the field of “green CSR” carried out jointly by entrepreneurs, local government, waste management companies, non-governmental organizations. Sales and marketing director since 2009, proxy since 2014. Participant in the work on the Circular Economy Package conducted by BusinessEurope in Brussels and on the concept of packaging and packaging waste management in Poland. Speaker and panelist at numerous conferences and seminars on, among others, Extended Producer Responsibility and the UN 2030 Agenda.
A seasoned leader with extensive experience in implementing modern technologies and managing logistics and the supply chain. For the last 15 years, he has been associated with DHL Supply Chain, where he was a Member of the Management Board, Business Director, and then CEO of branches in Poland and Slovakia. During his career, he held managerial positions, including at DHL Supply Chain, PepsiCo Polska and Lyreco Polska SA. A graduate of the Warsaw University of Technology and Executive MBA studies at the Warsaw School of Economics and the University of Quebec in Montreal.
Dr Bruna Petreca is a researcher and educator exploring the intersection of human experience, materials, and design. She is an Associate Professor in Human Experience and Materials at the Royal College of Art’s Materials Science Research Centre, where she leads research on consumer engagement with emerging sustainable materials. Her work integrates multisensory design, circular textiles, and digital fabrication, with a focus on fostering deeper connections between people and materials through embodied experiences and innovative design methodologies.
Grzegorz Skrzypczak has been the President of the Management Board of ElektroEko Organizacja Odzysku Sprzętu Elektrycznego i Elektronicznego SA since February 2, 2006. Previously, he was the Commercial Director at Fastrack (2000-2005) – representatives of the British Company – Kenwood and the American company – Remington. In the years 1991-1999, he was the General Director at Brabork – representative office of Philips and Whirlpool. He was also an Economic Consultant for the Italian company Merloni Polska and for the Greek company Klimatechniki. A graduate of Management Dept. at the University of Warsaw and a former student at the University of Michigan in the United States.

Responsible Management” and “Positive Impact Startup List”, co-founder of the Responsible Business Forum and the UNEP/GRID Warsaw program “Climate Leadership powered by UN Environment”.
Alicja Chilińska-Zawadzka – manager with many years of experience in preparation and implementation of investments in the area of renewable energy sources. Director General for 13 years, and since 2024 CEO of EDF Renewables Polska. Graduate of the Viadrina European University in Frankfurt / Oder. For years, she has been committed to a fair energy transition, believing that people should always be at the centre of change. That is why, in response to current challenges, she initiated the ‘Wind – a mine of opportunity’ programme, which enables miners to be re-trained as wind turbine technicians, giving them the chance to work in a zero-carbon industry of the future. On a daily basis, she emphasises the importance of diversity. She supports women and is involved in initiatives to increase their presence in the energy industry. She is keen to share her knowledge, showing the potential and opportunities hidden in the RES sector. She is also committed to supporting the development of the Lubuskie region. In 2024, she became president of the board of the Go Green cluster established by the Western Chamber of Industry and Commerce, creating a network of cooperation around green technologies. In her work, she relies on cooperation with local communities, which, as she points out, are key at every stage of a project.

Dorota Hryniewiecka-Firlej has over 20 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
For many years she worked in management positions in the biggest pharmaceutical companies like Janssen-Cilag, NovoNordisk, and Wyeth.
For years associated with Pfizer, where she successfully combines the role of general director with a focus on people.
Following the principle that people are the priority, she believes that authenticity should be the basis for building relationships. That is why she establish a culture of integration, an environment of tolerance, and respect for diversity in both private and professional life.
Her vision of business development focuses on placing people at the center of everything. She deeply believing that success is ensured by teams, not individuals. This approach meant that for four years she was the Co-President of the Diversity and Social Inclusion Council in the European structures of Pfizer.
Dorota also performed key leadership functions in leading industry organizations and associations in Poland – as the president of the Union of Employers of Innovative Pharmaceutical Companies (INFARMA) and vice president of the largest employers’ organization – Employers in Poland, where she was also a leader of the initiative Human Rights & Business.
She is a graduate of the Poznan University of Medical Sciences, where she obtained a specialization and a Ph.D. in internal disease.
Not only does she lead an active professional life, but she also works socially for the benefit of local communities, and in her free time she devotes herself to her passions, which are playing the piano and illuminating medieval manuscripts. She is a member of the Italian Association of Calligraphy and Illumination.

He has been involved in banking for over 30 years. He began his professional career at Polski Bank Rozwoju. He then managed treasury areas at BRE Bank, as well as at Bank BPH. He was a member of the management board of PKO BP. He served as the president of the management board at Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego and managed Bank Polskiej Spółdzielczości. At Bank Ochrony Środowiska S.A. he is responsible for the preparation and implementation of strategies, macroeconomic and sectoral analyses, and the ESG area.
He was a co-author of the framework agreement currently used on the Polish derivatives market, as well as the agreement on REPO transactions. The areas of his professional activity included asset securitization, creation and management of derivatives portfolios. He has extensive experience in the restructuring of capital groups.
Since 2010, he has been cooperating with the Institute for Market Economics Research. For many years he has also been a member of the Supervisory Committee of the European Money Market Institute (EURIBOR and EFTERM indices). His main area of professional specialization is liquidity and interest rate risk management. He is a graduate of the Central European University in Prague and holds a Master of Arts in Economics from New York University.
Alicja Chilińska-Zawadzka – manager with many years of experience in preparation and implementation of investments in the area of renewable energy sources. Director General for 13 years, and since 2024 CEO of EDF Renewables Polska. Graduate of the Viadrina European University in Frankfurt / Oder. For years, she has been committed to a fair energy transition, believing that people should always be at the centre of change. That is why, in response to current challenges, she initiated the ‘Wind – a mine of opportunity’ programme, which enables miners to be re-trained as wind turbine technicians, giving them the chance to work in a zero-carbon industry of the future. On a daily basis, she emphasises the importance of diversity. She supports women and is involved in initiatives to increase their presence in the energy industry. She is keen to share her knowledge, showing the potential and opportunities hidden in the RES sector. She is also committed to supporting the development of the Lubuskie region. In 2024, she became president of the board of the Go Green cluster established by the Western Chamber of Industry and Commerce, creating a network of cooperation around green technologies. In her work, she relies on cooperation with local communities, which, as she points out, are key at every stage of a project.

Jacek Kostrzewa is a manager with documented experience in developing businesses in the energy and biotechnology sectors, with over 30 years of experience gained in more than 50 countries in project financing, renewable energy, and energy efficiency policy and analysis. He holds a Master of Environmental Engineering degree from the Warsaw University of Technology and an MBA from the School of Business at the University of Washington in Seattle and the Academy of Economic Studies in Bucharest.
He has been an advisor to the International Finance Corporation, the World Bank, the European Investment Bank, and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development in designing, creating, and managing financing and technical assistance programs in the energy sector. He has advised many private sector companies on investments in wind energy, biomass, and solar power, including Siemens, Mid Europa Partners, Royalton Partners, Enfinity, RP Global, Novenergia Fund, Madhvani International, and Toshiba (solar energy). He is the director and founder of GreenMax Capital Advisors and previously served as the CEO of SKOTAN, a publicly listed biotechnology company, biodiesel manufacturer, and trader. He has managed projects for companies such as Orlen, Shell, Carrefour, National Power (fuels and energy), and Cargill, Neuca, Pharmapex, and DOZ (biotechnology). In recent years, he has been the President of the Management Board at 21ADD Sp. z o.o., specializing in energy-efficient construction.
In the 1990s, he was a financial expert for the European Commission’s PHARE assistance program (11 countries). He is the founder of the Energy Conservation Foundation and its subsidiary, the National Energy Conservation Agency.

From 2019, Spokesman and Secretary of the General Council of the Polish People’s Party. Since 2024, Councillor of the Malopolska Voivodship Regional Council, where he holds the position of Vice-Chairman of the Committee for Environmental Protection and Public Safety.
Manager with international professional experience. He obtained an MBA from the renowned German business school Handelshochschule Leipzig. He is also a graduate of the University of Leipzig in German Studies, Slavic Studies and postgraduate European Studies.
For 25 years he has worked in international technology corporations (GE, Siemens, STEAG, VAMED, PORR, BELECTRIC) in various management positions, being responsible for the development of international business, M&A strategies and implementation of modern technologies. He was responsible for the preparation and implementation of investments in innovative renewable energy technologies (wind energy, photovoltaics, energy storage) in Germany, Central & Eastern Europe, India, Turkey and Colombia, among others.
Since 2023, he has been managing the Project Development department at BELECTRIC GmbH, where he is implementing a new strategy and is responsible for the development of projects in line with the highest quality standards of the Elevion Group.
Dorota Zawadzka-Stępniak, graduate of the Faculty of Environmental Engineering at the Warsaw University of Technology and Postgraduate Studies in EU Fund Administration at the Warsaw School of Economics. Currently President of the Management Board of the National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management.
She has extensive experience in environmental protection, climate change and energy policy, which she used in her professional work in managerial positions in public institutions, including the Ministry of Environment, the National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management and the Warsaw City Hall, as well as private institutions, such as PwC and the Lewiatan Confederation.
A scholarship holder of the Prof. Maciej Nowicki Foundation and the Deutsche Bundesstiftung Umwelt Foundation, and a graduate of the 29th School of Political Leaders and the Game Changers Academy Master of Business Change.
Panel 2: Sustainable construction and real estate
Construction engineer and manager with 20 years of experience in construction projects as both designer, contractor and project developer. He has an interdisciplinary knowledge and experience in the area of business, program and project management. In his career he has held managerial and executive roles in companies in the areas of design, production and supply of construction materials, general contracting and currently in the area of project management. At Hill International he is responsible for the company’s Polish branch and operations in the Czech Republic.
A graduate of the Kraków University of Technology and the Higher School of Business in Nowy Sącz. After graduation, he worked as an engineer at POLGRAPH in Nowy Sącz, and since 1994 has been employed at FAKRO. He is a member of the core team of its founders. He started as the head of the Promotion and Advertising Department, and in 2008 he became the Marketing Director of Poland. He is currently a member of the Management Board of FAKRO sp. z o.o. Since 2001, he has represented FAKRO in the Association of Building Joinery Manufacturers. In 2005, after the association was transformed into the Association of Manufacturers, Suppliers and Distributors of Polish Windows and Doors, he was elected a member of the association’s program council, and later – a member of the board of the POiD Association. Since 2008, he has been the president of the board of the Polish Windows and Doors Association. Thanks to the joint efforts of FAKRO and the Polish Windows and Doors Association under the leadership of President Janusz Komurkiewicz, the construction joinery industry was recognised as a Polish export specialty, which was included in the programme of the Ministry of Economy – the Industry Promotion Programme.

Since 2020, he has been a member of the board of directors of Górażdże Cement SA, holding the position of Sales Development, Low Carbon Products and ESG. He is actively involved in industry associations including the Association of Cement Producers and the Polish Green Building Council. An economist, he is a graduate of Opole University and Wroclaw University of Economics, as well as prestigious international development programs. A graduate of the Wrocław University of Economics and the International Management Center of the University of Warsaw, where he completed Executive MBA studies, organized in cooperation with the University of Illinois. He gained extensive knowledge and professional competences while working in various positions in the area of corporate financial management. Since January 2009, he has been associated with Vantage Development S.A., where he was a Member of the Management Board since 2011. In October 2022, he took the position of Vice-President of the Management Board of Vantage Development S.A. and ROBYG S.A. – companies belonging to the TAG Immobilien AG group. He is responsible for the area of apartment rental, which is strategic for the shareholder of both companies (development of the real estate portfolio, property management, acquisition and service of tenants), as well as HR and ESG.
Specializes in construction law, real property law, providing legal advice throughout the investment process as well as administrative proceedings and litigation.. He has extensive experience in litigation related to the performance of construction contracts, including payment of remuneration for construction works, contractual penalties or settlement of additional works. He represented Clients in numerous administrative and court administrative proceedings relating to investment processes, including proceedings concerning environmental permits as well as zoning and building permits. Before joining the GKR Legal team, he had been working in a large Polish law firm for many years. Michał was also employed as legal counsel in the litigation department at one of the largest Polish capital companies. He provides legal services in Polish and English.
Adam Targowski is the Group Head of ESG at CTP, which develops and manages industrial and logistics parks from the Black Sea to the North Sea in 10 European countries. Adam is responsible for establishing the group ESG strategy and its implementation along with country management teams. The team has recently focused on implementing actions to ensure the company remains a leader in sustainable development, supporting tenants and municipalities in achieving their targets. Adam joined CTP in 2022. Prior to joining CTP, Adam was heading sustainability at Skanska’s development business in CEE and operated a consultancy in the field of sustainability, supporting the real estate and construction sectors. Adam is involved in several organizations promoting sustainable development in Europe: RICS, Urban Land Institute, and Polish Green Building Council, where he serves as Advisory Board Member. Adam has degrees in engineering and an Executive MBA and has 15 years of experience.
Panel 3: ESG – New opening
Head of the real estate law and investment process team and the French Desk team. Coordinates the work of the multidisciplinary group in the ESG area.
For over 20 years, she has been advising clients on issues related to real estate acquisition, investment location and concluding agreements with designers and contractors of construction investments. She has many years of experience in legal advice in the field of corporate law and mergers and acquisitions, including sales and acquisitions of companies or enterprises. Honorary President of AIJA (Association Internationale des Jeunes Avocats/International Association of Young Lawyers), member of the Real Estate Section of the IBA (International Bar Association).
Manager with 20 years of experience in sales management and company development. In November 2023, he took on the role of Product Owner at adQuery – a technology platform providing comprehensive support for digital campaigns at every stage of the sales funnel. In his role, he is responsible for the development of technology in terms of new functionalities, communication, and expanding the company’s product offering.
In the past, he was involved in offline media and later worked for companies such as Tradedoubler, E-com 360, Profity (CH), and the Tarsago Group. His strengths include versatile experience in the digital advertising market, e-commerce, and marketing automation, including the implementation of international solutions dedicated to the e-commerce industry.
Ignacy Niemczycki serves as Secretary of State at the Chancellery of the Prime Minister.
He holds a degree in sociology from the SWPS University of Social Sciences and Humanities and a degree in political science from the Graduate School for Social Research (a diploma from Lancaster University). He also earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Bocconi University in Milan. Additionally, he completed postgraduate studies in agriculture at the Warsaw University of Life Sciences (SGGW) and in organic farming at the University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn. He is an alumnus of the U.S. Department of State’s International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP) and the Landecker Democracy Fellowship.
During his studies, he founded the Free Belarus Initiative to support the fight for democracy in Belarus. He served on the board of the Akcja Demokracja Foundation and led the Prof. Bronisław Geremek Foundation. He also founded and coordinated the civic coalition Front Europejski (European Front).

Dr Paweł Bukowski is an Assistant Professor of Economics at the University College London and the Polish Academy of Sciences. Also affiliated with the London School of Economics. His research focuses on socio-economic inequalities and labour economics. He has won multiple international research grants, founded an expert group – Dobrobyt na Pokolenia and is a member of Concilium Civitas – a group of influential Polish social scientists working abroad. Paweł is a Senior Vice President in the Debt & Capital Advisory team of ING in London responsible for advising corporate clients on raising debt capital in the wider energy transition space including renewables and energy storage. In his previous roles he acted as M&A advisor to clients across the wider infrastructure space including energy and TMT transactions. He combines over 13 years of capital markets experience having advised clients across several geographies in EMEA (including in CEE) and industries in sell-side, buy-side capacity and on debt financing advisory mandates. Paweł is a graduate of the Warsaw University with a MA in Finance and Banking and is a CFA charterholder.
For 18 years, she has supported SME companies by providing specialised solutions to enhance security and enable business growth. Her experience spans from outsourcing, finance to information exchange industry.
