  • Carbon leakage – Will the increase in production costs in Europe due to ESG regulations force companies to relocate factories? Will there only be a decrease in investment and employment in Europe, and will global emissions not decrease?
  • What about the principle of reciprocity in international trade? Is there a risk that imported products from countries with lower climate standards may drive European products out of the market?
  • How to conduct a wise climate policy and comply with ESG standards while building long-term economic resilience so as not to lead to an increase in production costs, a decrease in investment attractiveness and a slowdown in exports?
  •  What benefits do companies experience from the introduction of ESG? Do the reduction in environmental fees, energy generation expenses and the increase in the share of recycled raw materials offset the costs?
